Taken from the Archives Pt. 4

Caitlin shared with with me an old abandon blog she once had years ago. A LiveJournal.

This got me thinking back to a blog, I too, kept on LiveJournal before turning to blogger.

I had totally forgotten about it. Finding that link and opening it back up was the equivalent to some shitty 80's adventure movie where the shaggy haired boy in a striped shirt blows the dust off "The Book of Dreams".

Some of the entries, I keep in a section of the blog called "Taken from the Archives".

I posted below an exchange that Leo and I had awhile back. I got a chuckle out of it... it has to do with our very different approaches to women and dating:

"Blessed is the man who expects nothing, for he shall never be disappointed."
Leo: blessed is the man who expects nothing, for he is a pussy unable to have the balls to pursue what he desires.

I had a livejournal too. Cuz livejournals are awesome. I guess. I should probably pull that thing out and see if it still exists.

I had a livejournal, then I realized that anything that had a goat as a mascot was never meant to be cool....

I had a teen open diary back in the day. I wish I could find that thing, but I think they've gotten rid of all of them. Sad.

Is a live journal kinda like having a diary with a lock that you have to wear around your neck?

I'd have to agree with Leo on this one...

I had an old blog too.....I saved it to a word document. It has stories like "why the price is right is SO crazy..." Those were the good old days....sigh.

I think I'm in love with Leo.

Actually, Leo's paraphrasing is particularly accurate to the plot of Macbeth.

Think about it.

But don't get into any trouble with ghosts. They suck.

Ha ha ha. Gosh you got me thinking that maybe I should unearth my journals and share some of my cringe worthy moments.

Another example of the (apparent) awesomeness that is Leo.

Absolutely amazing. I had a LiveJournal. I stopped writing in it in 2006. Then I defected to blogger.

I had an LJ. It wasn't interesting at all. I guess I had a huge crush on a guy I totally forgot about. Weird.

Leo is a wise sage.

I think Leo might have a point....

I think I need to take Leo's words to heart.

Maybe Leo should go into business paraphrasing other works of Shakespeare. There could be a market.

I had a livejournal as well. I like finding it, reading it, and remembering what it was like to be 17. And then realizing that i'm SO GLAD i'm not 17 anymore.

i had a lj...i deleted all...four of them? and now have the archives in a .doc file. Something like 300 pages long.

Oh lj...

I like Leo :)

I used LJ for a long time. I still have my last one, but never update it. I'm just afraid to lose everything.

Nice! LOL. :)

I don't need to tell you who wins that one, do I? I miss Leo....

Leo speaks the truth ;)

I think everyone, at one point or another, had a LiveJournal. I know I had at least four, and looking back on some of them is pure entertainment :P

Oh man, I remember my livejournal days. SO much angst!

I missed out on LiveJournal, but I do have an old geocities webpage dedicated to the Backstreet Boys. KTBSPA!

I don't know what LiveJournal is. Kids these days.

Leo's right. Also aim to exceed your own expectations. Disappointment passes, but the worst thing in life is settling.

God, I'm like a poet.

Did you ever explain where Leo went and why? Did I miss that one?

Leo said...

If it's not verbatim, it's pretty damn close.

Macbeth is making alot more sense when Leo explains it.

Hi, I just read one of the archives - titled Archives Pt. 1 - while I know it was a while ago for you and you aren't in that stage any longer, I definitely still am... hope it doesn't last much longer for me... like I said, I hope.
